(解放 — release)
A project, presented through photos and film, exploring shibari as a space of care, trust, and emotional release.
Kaihō unfolds through close observation. Rope tracing skin, breath shifting, tension settling into stillness. Within a carefully negotiated space, restraint becomes structure, and structure allows vulnerability to emerge safely.
The film approaches shibari not as spectacle, but as quiet exchange.
Release is understood as an internal state, the moment one feels held enough to let go.
Full film available upon request.
